It cannot be denied.
Healing starts with this:
MINDSET.
Our mind has the ability to guide our actions and our outcomes. After all, every thought and action literally boils down to electrical frequency and nerve synapses (nerve cells talking to each other!). Which means all thought and action is energy in motion AND can generate variable outcomes depending on the interaction of the energy involved in making it (the thought or action) happen!
So our mind can play at least some role in our outcomes.
Wild, huh?!
I will NEVER stop talking about mindset as the top tier of healing. To me, it boils down to 3 parts of our mind and mental state:
~How we speak TO ourselves
~How we speak ABOUT ourselves
~What we allow ourselves to THINK about
How do you talk to yourself (aloud or in your mind)? What does the dialogue point to? Do you constantly put yourself down? Call out your flaws? Do you shame yourself? (Yes, even when you “mess up.”) Is this how you would talk to someone you loved? A better action would be to talk to yourself as the BEST version of yourself! Honor your best self, your miracles, your uniqueness. Encourage yourself in the path you desire to walk. You aren’t a design flaw. You’re perfectly YOU!
How do you speak about yourself in your daily life? This often mirrors how you talk internally to yourself, but might not! How you project yourself to the world could even be more negative or detrimental than your internal dialogue. Shaming or putting yourself down is not conducive to healing. Nor is it your truth. So instead identifying with what you desire to change (i.e. “I have Lyme disease,” for example), try identifying with your desired outcome (i.e. “I am healing Lyme,” or “I am on an intentional healing journey right now.”). That’s just one way of many to flip the switch on the dialogue you choose to speak starting right now.
What you say is one thing, but what you THINK about creates an internal dialogue that certainly impacts your healing. Do you allow yourself to think hopeless and negative thoughts? Sure, they will pop into our minds! Sometimes it seems they’re ALWAYS there. Your mind is the battleground where healing starts, so it stands to reason that it will be under attack often. If you want healing, you must battle. You must fight against the thoughts that do not promote healing. When you allow destructive thoughts and attitudes in, disease and destruction has the opportunity to take a foothold and to thrive. I’m not saying you should deny that these thoughts and feelings occur, but rather that you CAN arm yourself against them with truths and affirmations. You CAN empower yourself to think about what is healing and helpful.
To help further all of this mindset healing, I’ll leave you with the graphic I’ve chosen here of some healing affirmations you can easily and frequently speak over yourself pretty much any time, anywhere! Of course you are welcome to come up with your own, but if that’s a lot to ask right now, feel free to just use these and modify them to cover you with your perfect power and healing truths.
I recommend speaking them OUT LOUD 3 or more times a day for 2-5min each time. For an extra boost, using essential oils while speaking your affirmations may enhance the effects and provide an extra layer of healing to your mind.
