When people think about Lyme prevention, they usually focus on avoiding ticks. And yes—that matters! But there’s another piece that often gets overlooked:
👉 Supporting your body if exposure happens.
Because the goal isn’t just to avoid ticks completely (which isn’t realistic), it’s to help your body respond well if it encounters something. It's for you to feel empowered to fight back against pathogens often carried by ticks.
Here are 5 simple, foundational ways to support your immune system during tick season (or any time, really!):
1. Prioritize sleep (this matters more than you think)
Your immune system does some of its best work while you’re sleeping. Even small improvements here can make a difference, and being consistent pays off!

2. Support your body daily—not just when something happens
Consistency matters more than intensity. Think hydration, nourishment, and basic support—not just reacting for something helpful after exposure.

3. Reduce unnecessary stress on your system
Your immune system doesn’t operate in isolation. When your body is overwhelmed (stress, toxins, lack of rest, etc.), it has fewer resources available to devote to a robust immune response.

4. Spend time outside—but be intentional
Fresh air, sunlight, grounding, and movement support overall health. Just pair that with awareness (non-toxic bug repellent, tick checks, appropriate clothing, etc.).

5. Have a plan before you need it
This is huge. Most people don’t think about what to do until after a tick bite—and by then, it feels stressful and rushed. But preparation creates confidence!
